Sunflower

I seem to have forgotten my manners 

Lost on some roof top 

My watch says I am half hour late by this point

You are not ever going to know otherwise

Why am I like that? Even now? 

And for what it's worth I do think you looked good in the production of The Nutcracker 

 Norway, it changed your life for the better

Thank you for saving me, I wish you could still 

I know that now and I realize its to late

To others the images faded

With each passing season a new layer of dust

But even now, and for years to follow

I will never look at sunflowers the same way again
