Wander

Each drag, deeper, more cinematic than its predecessor,

the end of my cigarette, illuminating a sense of clarity

like headlights to the road before me. 

Silhouettes materialize, as the sun cascades over the skyline

accompanied by the stirring of what some might call

the American Dream.
