Obscurity

I remember wishing the days away,
Because we only ever met in the dark.
Often the wind scathed my skin,
And the rain relentless in its nature
Remained a constant in our presence
Still your aura plagued me with iridescence
And we’d sit there timeless as anything
Until our clothes had soaked through
Or I couldn't feel my toes
Entwined in our flow state of transcendense
The scope of our conversations was infinite
Resuscitating our souls after days that didn’t serve us
Connecting them as one under the moon and her stars
It felt almost fantasy
And in hindsight perhaps it was
There was obscurity in your darkness
It was just too bright to see

Youthful dalliance.
Thanks, Rosaquinn. You took me back, too.
