align="center">Millions died in this terrible battle by the Kaiser, to gain
from other lands,

suffered most, it was on both sides the hard working class man.

align="center">Many people volunteered for the armed forces to fight the
dreaded Hun,

align="center">Given their corps uniforms and was allotted with a
gun.

align="center">The main theatre of this war, was called the Western
Front,

align="center">Each side fought in trenches, backwards and forwards they did
shunt.

align="center">Commander Douglas Haig, led his troops into France, they

align="center">Regrettably encounters, killed thousands of men at battles
of the Somme.

World War,

get bored.

align="center">This war was fought with planes in the air and the mighty
ships at sea,

align="center">So many men lost their lives in combat, to keep Old England
free.

this greedy Hun,

align="center">Putting fires out that destroyed many homes, families,
daughters and sons.

align="center">In nineteen-seventeen, America joins this war, to fight off
this terrible foe,

align="center">They say this did turn the tide of the conflict, making way
for peace to grow.

free,
