Forgiven and forgotten

There was a scuffle, a knife, some phone calls
Then silence
To summarize: the scene was set as less than extravagant. Stretched and busy.
Breakfasts were had
People worked their days
An other created merry hell, and expected all touched
With a long and outstretched hand
To rise at their beck and call
There was a stand off. Anger warded off the reprise.
The merry hell maker was forgotten
Refrying and souping their stuff and nonsense
Ignored
Everyone irritated lost their belief in the shame.
The reality that was their life. Themselves.
Their friend. All was fine
The hate and fear faded.
And there was a waning in a way that was
Akin to a blighted tomato
Forgiven and forgotten in a bin bag.
Not fit for compost.
