Moth trap

I thought I caught a glimpse, a whiff of
Something acrid , like a lure
Before I came into the frame
And now things aren't the same.
I tried politely denying its' existence
But you were most persistent
And now I'm distant,
distrustful
Defiantly more than before
In a harsher fashion
Than you would be used to
You, user
And your undeniably useful
Emotional persecutor
How fashionably S and M of you
Mr Munchausen. Do give my regards to
your other half.
Open your briefcase
Cage, bury and burn
The flock of lepidoptera like inventions
As they surge out.
Own them. Kill them with kindness
Destroy their intentions
Discipline yourself
Break the drama triangle
Because its' really not my angle
So don't dangle it
I un-choose this
And the Autumn sun calls
Me.
Outside again.
