There's nothing quite like concrete:
miracle of abstract chemistry,
canvas of gasoline rainbows,
foundation of the information economy,
the cyanide of dendrites,
cracked by years of acrid rain,
etched with wars' dead names,
malt liquor bed of modern artists.
For better or worse,
we are married to this eunuqe.
