Russian Disclosure

I used to belong to a poetry society called 'The Woodland Poets Community' (just on-line... but we were a close group nonetheless.) Gradually our founder, an honorable Scot named Allan Tierney became less interested in poetry and most interested in promoting the interests of the nation of Russia... I can't give you much insight into that beyond very liberal politics tied to a nostalgia for the former Soviet Union, then fueled by contacts with actual Russians.
From my youth, I've thought that the Soviet Union fell too hard and too quickly... and I've worried about a lost nuclear Russia. That's how I am. Allan Tierney and I remained friends.
But I recognize the need to be a patriotic American first, and what I'm disclosing to you is my only material connection to Russia... and the amount of money I received from Allan over the years couldn't exceed $300... from a site that published 100s of my poems. But honest and open disclosure is desired and that's what we're giving. This is every thing
I do not say that this is all as it should be, though there likely should be some protection of the right of independent citizens to discuss international affairs, so as to keep our democracy alive and thriving. In my life and in my thought, there are things that have gone right and things that have gone wrong. If this is indeed one of my errors, I repent. I don't want a cloud to hang over my memory or my family and children. God bless you, and God bless the U.S.A.!
