Three pieces
Flesh pierced through by
Steel.

Thorns
False crown
Ripped his scalp
Blood trickling down
Skin.

God
Crossed worlds
Nailed for us
Torn the veil to
God.

Interesting. Maybe another stanza on the resurrection – the cross empty, the tomb empty,revealing the work complete, wonderful access, amazing Saviour! Rhiannon
