I’ve got
new shoes
a strong heel
red laces.
That will
take us
to unknown
places.
Like Romford.
I’ve been
out of sorts.
A ship with
no ports.
Grazing
for days.
in
a
malaise.
To coin a phrase.
Oh Gertrude!
Come run
as fast
as you can
with me.
I have a flask
pork pies
a Kit Kat
some fruit…
For our tea.
