I retreat into worlds that are not my own
A distraction from life in things unknown
The serene paradise that lies in dream
A prevarication in life which lies unseen
These thoughts of mine are all I hold
In the world my truth’s untold
I embrace the fantasy within my mind
In life such things I’ll never find
Comfort me end all my woes
Reveal all truths, defeat my foes
Bring back hope and banish guile
Remove all sorrow, return my smile
Release me from this treachery
Show me the meaning of clarity
Bring an end to this callous war
Fear and betrayal become no more
I embrace my dreams and all my lies
Forever I’ll stay, in this paradise

A wonderful poem, that I

A wonderful poem, that I relate too so much.
There's nothing wrong with living in ones own
imagination. It can take you away to so many
wonderful worlds, as you have said in this poem.
Glad to know I'm not the only one.
Jenny.
