The battle for dreams, fought in our minds
Tides of peace in an ocean of time

Our ship be anchored as waves pass by

Ill placed hope brings sorrow and fear
Nary a reason to persevere

The wind can't carry this boat somewither
To bear this place: a fierce surrender

Unkind thoughts behind cold steel bars
Sombre sky with nought but stars

Sun's light still shining on distant shore

Spread white wings and take to the sky
