of "supporting artist"
are the ones
with no lines

they are so sweet
and so earnest
with their pointing
and their nods
and their smiles

they are so busy with the paperwork
that has nothing to do with the plot

I have often wondered how people make a living doing that. I read somewhere there are folks that work as extras their entire lives. Is our collective need to be famous that strong ? This is very very deep in its simple observations.
