I was chuckling at this
I was chuckling at this (especially the bit about the tradespeople - oh yes) and then by the end I had tears in my eyes. Brilliant mix of the mundane and the heartfelt.

Some lovely little
Some lovely little interjections here add an air of melancholy to the brisk run-through of things that get under your skin. These interjections seems to burrow a little deeper. Wonderfully structured as each little deeper moment comes at just the right time to make us go back over and wonder at its succinct depth.

Yes why do they have those signs 'Break it and it's yours' - puts you off shopping!
'The dream you can't remember and the one you can't forget' - poignant.
'Times a healer' hits hard, especially the on the repitition.

You've made me chuckle. At one point, I believed that dogs could smell me at 56 metres. Stick your time and your healer up your great asses. Where would one be without humour. An achingly apt piece for the tragi-comedy of life.
