Real dandy

in yellow shady titfer,

loves attention from

butterflies and bees,

 

stands alone sometimes neath

blades of green just waiting to be seen,

charming and slim with delicate seeds;

those travelers that get caught up in a breeze,

 

then one day removed from earth's platform...

with no return, this dandy will shrink off,

its charges understand their plight to carry on

the gift of life.

they are so delicare, 'those travelers that get caught up in a breeze' brought the picture to mind of the hovering and dancing little parachutes! Thier leaves are the bane of gardeners' lawns, but their  bright yellow mops and their delicate seeds are indeed lovely!. Rhiannon
