'Characterised by dry conditions' is what it says in mine...a bit like where I live at the moment, I guess. Not that I'm complaining,but the ducks are getting a bit concerned that their pond is all-but empty;-)

And speaking of ducks, we now have a whole flock of mallards coming every day at sunrise and just before sunset. Yesterday I counted sixteen! And amongst that group are two black and white ones. I am using a literal ton of bird food every week, as you can imagine. I also hope the pond doesn't get much lower through lack of rain, as at least half of them land straight in the pond on arrival. It could become quite a hard landing if the dryness continues;-) Congrats on the well-deserved cherry, plus you taught myself and Pia a brand new word;-) Have a lovely weekend yourself. Tina

Well done Jenny fantastic how you med it a story! when I was camping in cornwall there were hundreds of canadian geese staying at a lake nearby it was exciting
