Keep turning...

Remembering

That treasured day,

 

Fresh faced was I

Back then

Monopolized by

Love and laughter,

 

I wonder! Did

That little Monkee

Hear my breathless

Intake of air?

 

As I sat down

Beside him

Mesmerized by

His very presence,

 

I could have

Lost myself

If just for

A moment,

 

Imagined us

Together...

Seduced by

His smiling,

 

We'll be

Forever

Anchored

To that spot,

 

Thanks

To that

One

Snapshot,

 

Gazing now

At your

Haunting

Features,

 

Recalling

Remnants

Of a handsome

Manchester lad.

Hi inset,

it was at the Belgrave Hotel in Torquay on October 14th 1993. 

I don't know if you remember, but i wrote about it back some years ago.

I've just been reminiscing and remembering.

Hi Tom,

thank you for reading, but really it was me that had all the luck. He was my childhood idol and to meet him personally meant everything to me.
