Therefore I Am

Eyes have thrilled
Soothed my mind,
Days now precious
Overflowing with
Pages once blank,
In short...presently
Filled to brim, those
Plots of fiction
Let me in,
I occupy each
Unmarked sheet,
Coaxing beautiful
Curious words,
Each crisp new leaf
Holds key to inspiration,
Feelings of excitement
Verses pour, immersed
Through cells of mind,
Like salmon swimming
Up river ever determined
To reach higher ground,
There to spawn new life.
Dreams and visions
Of tempestuous youth,
Eager adventures seep
Running through veins,
Sometimes unsettled
With no direction, kept
Hidden for another time,
Enhancing future poems
And stories to come.

Sounds wonderful, Jenny - I
Sounds wonderful, Jenny - I hope this is actually what's happening! Those magic times remind us why we do it - as long as we can remember them when we're sitting in front of the page or screen feeling like a particularly uninspired suet pudding.

This is the most inspiring poeem (well not just poem, ANYTHING) about writing I have read, ever. Would it be ok to print it out please?

You seem to be bubbling with
You seem to be bubbling with ideas, and want to write them down, but also to give thought and develop the ideas and the thinking. Rhiannon

Very good Jennifer! Heartening!
Very good Jennifer! Heartening! But how does the title fit in sounds more like philosophy?! Inspiration is the same with me it never rains but it pours. That's where your little writer's notebook comes in! But you know what Edison said? "genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration" he had some very novel ideas our late Thomas Edison.
It's warm here already it feels like summer I think we're in for really hot times. While you must get the wood and coal ready clean the fireplace as days get shorter etc! Get the jackets and jersies ready all the warm stuff blankets and raincoats and that.
To tell you the truth I'm glad winter is over here we had some difficult times.
Keep well! Glad to see you writing you were a bit quiet lately,
