Sometimes we just sit down and let ourselves cry,
Thinking of the various reasons as to why.
When hurt comes out of us through tears,
We tend to clear out some of our fears.
Crying helps you to lighten up at times and faster heal,
To wash away all the sorrow that you feel.
You just don't cry when you are sad,
Tears flow down after a great laugh you have had.
Nobody knows yet why tears flow down our eyes,
We often search for answers looking up towards the skies.
Happy or sad we all cry at one time or another,
Whether you are a dad, mom, a sister or a brother.
