The Bluff

Im consumed by this.
This…this, never end of never.
How do you restart when this minute stretches beyond my life.
I can stand on the bluff, I can do that.
I can feel my long coats whip like angered sails.
My oh my, how the rocks feel unsteady.
The waters. They carry grains of sand that piece me together.
I am a sifting castle of an idea.
My shadow moves itself apart, to the widows walk.
But me.
But for me, I will stay and watch for the ship of you.
I can do that, because I must.
My bloods oil moves slow, tired, in a distant hold.
It’s the only light I feel, when the rocks shiver beneath me.
So, I hold me hearts lantern high, to guide you here.
I can do that which the clasped seconds demand.
Until my shadow returns and I wake.
Upon this crag, a castle waits, on shaky earth.
In its towers window, a flame flickers.
The shadows come, and I am here.
Chained to the walls of me.
