Am I still a Virgin

Am I still a Virgin
It was a fairground attraction
We met that summer evening in June
I was 15 you were a year older
And much bolder
Amongst the noise of the waltzers
The dodgems and 10cc’s Rubber Bullets
We giggled and looked for excuses to touch
Without making it obvious to anyone
Which of course it was
Then as the sun took its bow
And the crowds disappeared
We sneaked away across the fields
And found a spot to lie down
We kissed and fumbled
I was looking for treasure
You were unsure what to hold
It was learning by grope
Somehow amongst the wrestling
And the confusion
And the warm air across your
Half nakedness
Something seemed to happen
Was that it?
I’ve had been thinking about this moment
Since I was 12
And here I was after 4 minutes
Finished
We were panting so we must have
Worked at it
We laid back and looked at the sky
Then we felt the earth move
As the London bound train
Screamed across the track
About 10 feet from where we lay
We ran back to civilisation
I wasn’t sure if we had actually had sex.
