Don't worry it's only a war

There’s a sinister dark cloud above us
Shaped like a giant atom bomb
The drums of war beat loud and fast
The generals, politicians and arms dealers
Will of course be the last
To reach the front
The TV moguls play their part
Pouring out military fiction
Flooding the screens with bravery
Just like the robber barons
Who were praised for creating slavery
The victims had no voice or choice
Conscription is on the tip of a tongue
The shadows of the ghouls are close
There’s too many teenagers having fun
And our masters demand that they die
In a trench on their own next to their gun
The depopulation battle has been won.
