Time is telling tales
As big as whales
In a turbulent ocean
As if in slow motion
Yet moving too fast
Instant future turned to past
Do you remember your first dream
How real did it seem
Time doesn’t swim against the tide
Time just seems to glide
It can leave you behind
Its often hard to find
When you need it most
It’s an invisible host
That everyone can see
Where they may never be
Time paints a picture
Of a permanent fixture
That floats on high
Like a solitude sigh
Ephemeral forever
With skin of leather
Never sitting still
Do with it as you will
