Autumn Days

Watch breezes caress drooping trees,
Console with teasing touch,
So hopeful in their sweet kisses.
Watch sun yield to intruding dark,
Then see colors vanish in extravagant festival,
So vibrant in their wasting days.
Lean against the wall,
And flee against the will of them all,
To the autumn days, bursting in their dusk.
Forget the length of your store,
Embrace the plentiful feast,
Distance the working haste.
Here are autumn days, pleasantly dying
In the very best of ways.
