Chart your life by swaths
of emotions,
and let they drape a tapestry
upon your silky head.
How the world pours when
the doors are broken, when the
hinges swing and let run
the dreams.
Touch all that glimmers,
taste the scents that wreathe,
the colored delights to lure
a brazen soul,
anchors of Time loose
in the breeze.
An autumn charm then settles upon the carrying streams,
the sighted robin’s gleam
to swim towards my eye as
known brown dye.
As this world dies to live again, I wander
those open gates of my redundant mind
to sight dark graves in perpetual motion.
I snap awake.
This damn nine to five.

I like the dreamy build up
I like the dreamy build up and the sudden crash back down to earth. And the unobtrusive rhyming gives it a nice wandering rhythm that fits the mood just so.
'and let they drape a tapestry'- should that be 'them?'
