One Moment in Time

One moment in time we'll be plucking
This consciousness from the strained air
To feel twixt our fast palms an echo
Pulsating and earthing lost years
You whistle when you should be sucking
The nutrients we're bound to share
Out of the soft mud and keen fallow
Embroidering dreams from our fears
Yet even when sheets are all rucking
And binding you tight as a lair
A leopard's re-born to be mellow
I'll hold you forever in tears
