Honeysuckle

honeysuckle, honeysuckle
with light feet running
through heavy drops of rain
bare feet
warm mud so smooth
between toes
arms reaching for the sky
clothing,face, hair, skin
trenched in summer rain
Ahhh, this smell
so intoxicating
brain in circles
Honeysuckle, honeysuckle, honeysuckle
with a deep smile running
running like a child
trying to catch each drop
trying to catch the
blowing wind
inhaling life
this heavy, warm moist air
filling emptiness
washing worries away
for time being
hearing this melodious chime
Honeysuckle, honeysuckle, honeysuckle
surrounded by your presence
and flushing through my vanes
moments of just being
excluding weight of days
an invisible hand
reaching
squeezing hearts
for a touch
wild desires
reaching boiling point
Mmmmm
unforgettable scent
Honeysuckle, honeysuckle, honeysuckle
this memory for you
close your eyes
and smell it
now open them
and
hold the towel for me ..
