Do not think that what you see is...

what you get, there is
no truth in what you see
the value of which has been defined
repeated through tv
radio
friends and others,
but look deeper
look within the eyes and search
for the glowing radiance of love
not the power of dominance
or the twisted cords of parental hatred.
she is so fair
a darling among women
her hair flows like wine
drips like rain
after a spendid storm
waiting, pitter-pattering
slanting
slowly.
Her voice was as deep as a well,
her hair extensions of sensual longing.
her body spoke words
murmurs and she brightened with a kiss.
she was so intelligent yet so sensitive,
a sadness lingered...
eyes cast down
a sea of voices doused in cynicism.
do not think the world loves you
for those who are happy do not buy,
upon you are etched the eternal lines of summer,
the lovely lashes of strength.
do not become as weak as the others,
who know no inner laws
and do the fashionable thing.
she was so fair
like the moon clothed with clouds
evading nudeness donned in white
a fluffy soul
floating with breezes,
rolling and when i touched her
she sighed
and spoke of how much she hated her husband...
she just went on and on like the energizer bunny.
i tried to listen at first, but
i was soon lost in a sea of memories
floating like a boat.
"are you listening to me?"
"yes."
"you are so sweet."
"that's nice. eat some rice."
do not think that you know anyone
for so much
they do in secret.
there's so much aggression and animosity in them
that is repressed.
do shine, shine like the sun
when it breaks out
in raysonnection.
let love be your center, but intellect
your protection.
