Guns and Terrorism 1

I am a deep believer in individual liberty. I believe that everyone has the right to own guns. But in the current situation, I really have to support some measures for controlling gun use in America.
First, I cannot imagine my kids being shot at school so uselessly and mindlessly either by someone who is mad or a terrorist. It is the most senseless way to die. Totally meaningless, accident, and feelingless.I know that political forces will wait for some great tragedy to occur for gun control to be discussed seriously. If 300 people are massacred, then both sides will come to the table. I do not know what the magic number is but I do not want to wait.
Children are being shot. Total innocents are being shot. We talk endlessly and live quiet nervous lives. It could happen anywhere. How can this be prevented?
It can. Background checks, ways of nationalizing gun laws as to exclude the use of AR-15 and other assault rifles, refusing to give guns to domestic abusers and crazy people. It can be done. It is only time before a ISIS terrorist comes as an immigrant and sets off another mass shooting like the one in Paris.
