Happy Thanksgiving 2017

From Sea to Ocean to Tree, to the home of the HoneyBee,

Happy Thanksgiving to All.

 

I thank God for cleansing my soul,

for "preparing a table before me in the Presence

of my enemies,"

for giving back my desire to care,

to love my dear neighbors and Even

my enemies.

As E.T. gave back to Eliot

the warm fireplace of the heart...

his ability to empathize with others...

love, love, and love which Christ cherished and crystallized and centered,

to tell people exactly who they were and Face

their being.

 

There are some Americans

who know exactly what a Korean is

more than Koreans

and will form and shape Koreans in their image

until a Korean becomes a totally generic thing,

a lifeless being made out of inflation, dullness, and hatred

 

Let me not associated with such Americans.

 

Thanksgiving for all my prayers to you my Lord

which you have listened to.

So much pain and chaos was in me,

I tried to be American in the ancient Greek sense:

Athletic, an excellent student, well=wounded (I mean

rounded), popular with girls and well-liked by all foreigners.

I ended up being a Pretender dragged down by unbounded insecurity and hatred.

 

Thank you Lord for

listening to my prayers,

answering my prayers,

loving me for who I was and giving me the courage and strength

to donate a Jewish Synogogue and battered women.

 

Lord, make me more like the being you want me to be,

help downgrade this desire for swift pleasure,

fill me with the well of your ever-refreshening waters,

still my mind and soul and make me see you.

 

Thank you Lord for always being with me.

I also thank all the women who have taught me and encouraged me.

Lastly, I thank the Turkey

for being a willing sacrifice.
