Now, I am not going to go into how a pecking order was established through the meritocracy and the liberation game. I'm just going to say that the Jews, the Irish, the Italians, the Hispanics, the Blacks, and the Asians all contributed and were rewarded in some way by the American system. Sometimes, it just meant that they could have an ethnic identity, that they had a historical recognition of their right to exist as a minority.

This game, though, over time, changed. As American sought for one reason or another to be more interconnected to the rest of the world, the existence of minorities who had a good and solid knowledge of their home country and their ability to help in the process of economic or cultural interconnectness became an asset. According to this liberal game, the value of a minority was not accessed in terms of the minority's ability to acculturate, but on its knowledge of the workings of their native culture. This was also a part of the meritocracy game but not the liberation game. This explains why liberal universities treat the offspring of rich foreigners so well.

But to be quite truthful, most sons and daughters of rich foreigners have no clue how their country works. In fact, their parents have made sure that their sons and daughters bypass the "normal" channels to attaining status and power. To be even more truthful, rich foreigners often complain about the easy access to drugs in America. They also complain that America has corrupted their sons and daughters.

To return to Hillary Clinton, it is hard to know what kind of diversity she is supporting. Albeit she is a liberal, she is surrounded by mostly well-meaning liberals, a few of whom are colored I suppose. I include Asians as colored because that is how we are seen. She is a woman, but probably not liked by most women. She is at the forefront of the liberal movement which basically means that a woman is equal to a man, that a woman can be sued for sexual harassment just like a man, and that a woman cannot make a bunch of excuses based on her identity as a woman.
