Discussions about minimum wage have become ridiculous.
Universities professors should have no say on the mimum wage debate. Graduate students probably get paid $6 an hour for the work they do. Universities also are supported by mass amounts of donations.
Churches cannot survive without the charity work of many of its members. What right do people who pay nothing for teachers have to say about the minimum wage?
Non-profit organizations should also have no say.
With the advent of the internet, products have become much cheaper than before. Driving costs are down and gas is down.
The dollar is pretty strong in comparison with other currencies.
With the inflation of the value of the person and hyper-competitive ridiculousness of behavior, people believe that they really deserve a lot for doing not much. There is much hustling and talk but very little result.
As always happens during times of War or the threat of War, small businesses will be weeded out. But there is really no sign that a major war will break out in the future.
