What is clear is that Donald Trump does not know what he is talking about. He clearly has no clue. If this is so, he has to delegate, but he says that he is not going to delegate. Not a few times has he revised his position on various issues. He says that he is confident and knows the issues, but it is more and more clear that he doesn't. Therefore he is a liar.
What he exudes on the outside is confidence and charisma. His confidence and charisma though is not the type that Reagan exuded. Reagan was a great communicator and had a good sense of what the issues were about. Donald Trump uses body language and power. Any opposition to him is seen as a threat. More and more, he resembles the Bush White House which pushed away all opposition to the War.
Donald Trump, more and more resmbles a dictator. A dictator often feels that he is the body politic of the nation and the voice of the nation. He finds it difficult to admit any faults. He cannot stand opposition, but within this seeming facade of absoluteness, there is deep insecurity.
Hilary Clinton, on the other hand, is a child of the meritocracy. In many ways, you can say that she has many merits and her resume is a list of decent accomplishments, but she is not the kind of liberal she portrays herself to be. She is very selfish and self-involved. As much as she tries to portray herself as someone who cares about people, it is hard to know if she really does. Also, at her stage of individualism, it is difficult to say whether she values herself above the nation state. There is, in other words, a "trust" issue. This trust issue involves the difference between how she portrays herself and what she is and also whether she believes herself to be a member of the United States or above that. Such individuals may betray the nation state believing that their individuality is more precious than the membership in a nation state. In Ancient Greece, the figure of Alcibiades pops up.
