Nietzsche's critique of Western Philosophy:
"I think; therefore I am." There has to be an agent "I" doing the thinking. I is existence. Thinking creates essence by shaping the Will. Beginning of existentialism.
Goethe: "In the beginning was the Deed." (Faust)
God: A synthetic a priori BEING cannot exist who is synchronously both Will and Idea as a causa sui since causa sui is moved by the tension between Will and Idea. Basically Nietzsche's critique of Kant.
Nietzsche's critique of himself:
He deliberately contracted Syphilis to give him the sickness of genius? This is in direct contradiction to his love of ancient Greek culture whose artists exhibited an exuberance of health and love of life.
Fell in love with Lou Salome and perhaps wanted to be dominated by her. Not a very ubermensch thing to do.
