Rape ii

It is very difficult for a woman to "come out" with an allegation of rape toward a sport star. The sport star supports the budget of a college in a very fundamental way. Sports stars have a higher status in high school or even college than the most prized students. High schools and colleges do not want to sacrifice their stars. They are often symbols of American dominance and America's sense of being number #1. Even when the rape allegations come, colleges and high schools are loathed to do anything about it due to pressure from sports families and board of directors, etc. The police want to shelve the case also. It's something that could damage the reputation of the whole town or city.

With that said, women who truly believe that they have been raped should come forward and ask for justice. But they must have the passion and patience for justice also. Also, they should realize that often raped women are marked as "used goods" by most men. They should realize that they are going to be stonewalled, that a war of attrition is going to be thrust upon them, that the worst stereotypes of women are going to be applied to them.

LET me first begin with what I DO NOT THINK is rape. If a woman dresses like Brittany Spears, takes ecstacy or gets coked up, expecting the fuck of her life and then gets the standard, macho fuck of the sports star and her body at first says yes and then the bad feelings hit and in the last moments changes to NO, then she wants to accuse him of rape. I DO NOT THINK THIS IS RAPE. I really think that America needs to wake up to the youth culture nowadays and how many gray lines there are due to multiculturalism and other forces. The woman has a choice not to hang around these athletes and most women know what these athletes are like. There are a few naives in the bunch, but naivety cannot be an excuse for stupidity. If you're hanging around a pack of wolves, you better watch out.

Also, even if the previous male was not an athlete but a dork wondering what it was like to screw a hot girl, he would have done the same thing as the athlete.

One solution to the problem of alpha males may be in passive resistence. I know I preach passive resistence alot because I love Martin Luther King Jr. and he talked alot about passive resistence. Just don't play the games of these alpha-male athletes and don't feed them. I mean, even if the sex is incredible (which I suspect is not), even if your friends shower attention on you (if they are your friends), how long does it last before he passes on to the next girl? Also, if he likes to videotape the sex act, what are you to him? Do you really want to give him videotape footage? What are you, a fetish for the anthropology department to examine?
