Rape iii

One question I have off the bat is, "Why would these athletes want to rape a woman?" At first, it made no sense to me that an attractive, athletic type would want to rape a woman. Why? When I read the Accidental Billionaires, it revealed that there were women from Wellesley and other Universities who came expressly to Harvard to fuck Harvard athletes. I think Harvard athletes referred to the buses or trucks these women came in as "Fuck Trucks." If there is no shortage of women who want to have sex with these athletes, then why is rape so often linked with athletes?

One reason may be that, having had too much sex, these athletes have to turn to a greater diversity of sex, and therefore, women. Or it may be that they are not fully secure in their power of seduction. They need to seduce a person who dislikes them to prove their prowess. But how do you seduce a woman who clearly dislikes you? I guess the athlete does it with a date-rape drug. Again, I want to stress that I am not speaking of all athletes. What we read in the newspapers is usually about the extreme cases, not what generally happens in athletics. In that case, it would be rape. The use of a date-rape drug to bypass seduction would be a rape.

The greater diversity of woman for sex would imply that the athlete would now turn to rougher sex and different types of sex to satisfy his lust. Once he enters this realm, the lines blur as to what is rape and not rape.

I think I have tried to understand the male's point of view of rape. Now I will try to understand the female view.
