The towers fell
A waterfall of layers
Farted dark smoke
Which travelled to corners or cul de sacs
Bleeding like a mad wound
Breaking skin and bones ripped
Swallowed underground wonder
Bits and bytes of pain
Careless souls jumping down
To flat ends.
Where is the time for sorrow
Pain
And revenge?
Only news and news and more news
Spreading across the page.
Some lost their broken families
Some lost their souls
Some gave up and searched
For oblivion.
Yes
It disappeared in an instant
Our humanist illusions.
Some became so angry they burst
A darkness they did not know came into
And out of their lives.
Anger peeled its skin and lit
Mad purposes in peoples lives.
Hate for their country grew until they wondered and wondered.
We find those who pretend to be holocaust survivors
Or at least chomsky does
But we do not find those who kill
Under innocent and nice disguises.
We assume that people are what they present themselves as.
Unending pain that finds no answer
The bin ladens were donators to harvard.
And perhaps other institutions
Why did they accept the money?
Al gore supports al jazeera cable
One wonders
Are the bin ladens one of the supporters of al jazeera?
We've sold out to the almighty dollar.
Anyone can be bought
For a buck.
But pain, so much unending pain
Flowing madly metal wires clinging
Bestial desires within one unearthed
Yet
There were good men who saved lives...
There are friends we make who are so nice and kind and they take us for a ride
Steal our money
Hire prostitutes to seduce our kids
And we are shocked.
How could this happen to us...
It's hard to say.
An npr radio hostess is shocked that the nice boy
She once knew
Could have committed such an act.
We are either incredibly naive
Or we've been dumbed down by the media
Radio
Newspapers
Church
Education.
But the pain goes on
Turning our faces into stone
Medusas they make of us
Losing all emotion
A new rock
Cancerous
Rejected and alone.
