Sexism 3

Medusa: This archetype is the most dangerous of all female archetypes. This image represents the fully sexualized and intellectually realized females. Now there are different types of females in this area, but still there is an identifiable type. A bohemian female with a love of life and its joys and well as its miseries who also has an absolutely sharp mind is this type. Such women are not sluts. It's just that their intellectual processes are connected intimately with their eros or libido. Anne Rice is one of these and she must be given credit as some sort of a "genius" for putting the vampires on top of the Satanic food chain. Ricci Ducornet, a beautiful and golden-souled woman, is also a Medusa archetype. Again, I must stress that Medusa types are not sluts. Athena uses the image of Medusa on her shield. And again, there is spirituality in emotions, in our pains, in our joys. Whereas the logocentric females can speed along to their conclusions on the basis of what they think and what others think, the Medusas have to experience life and know its fabric to find a realistic basis for thinking about and understanding life. And as they express a life of great complexity, the simplicity of logos is shown to be only the hollow skeleton of life. On the dangerous side of Medusa is the image of Sharon Stone in "Basic Instinct." Such women are repressed psychotic killers who have a deep anger against their father for a primal sin (rape) or against God for the limitations set against women. In Basic Instinct, the metaphor is "AIDS." They kill like a virus whether on a psychological level or on a real physical level. They are ritualistic in their killing. But then, women have more concern for human life than males. Most of these women do not actually engage in killing, opting more for sado-masochism or doing government jobs in which killing is allowed. Such women may seduce a man and then steal his wallet and everything else if he allows her too. They are vengeful women.
