Now I seem contradictory. On the one hand, I am saying that Donald Trump will make America more like Europe. On the other hand, I am saying that he will make it more isolationist. Well, they are one and the same things. Donald Trump will bring a Fascist extreme and a multicultural opposite extreme. This is how I understand Europe to be politically. As for European and Asian businessmen working in the US, he will either drive them out or use them as a bargaining chip for European and Asian deals. This kind of strategy has never worked and never will work. It has been used in the cultural and political battles of the 1960's and onward and it has never worked. Also, it penalizes the diaspora, the hypenated-Americans, the 1st generation immigrants, and the illegal immigrants for something they have little control over.

The simple fact is, isolationism has become the code word for "Socialism" and "Fascism." Donald Trump has the makings of being a dictator, a shaman, and a celebrity all rolled in one. Conservatives like Donald Trump because he calls the shots. But can he actually call the shots?

Suppose that Donald Trump builds the wall between Mexico and America, what is to prevent the illegal immigrants from coming from Canada? Is he going to build a wall there? 

Suppose Donald Trump deports the parents of those kids born in America, is the State going to take the Mexican kid and raise her or him?

What about all these fees for legal and illegal immigrants that he is proposing? How long are the lines going to be and how much are the fees? Could any illegal or legal immigrant pay them? How about the detention centers for illegals? Who's going to pay for all these detention centers? It will cost so much to implement Donald Trump's plans that there will be no profit from it.

Immigration has become a tough call. America is no longer getting the best from Europe, Asia, Africa, and elsewhere. There seems to be a flow of Marxists from Asia... from Africa, good, smiling, well-intentioned people... political prisoners, and others. Many illegal immigrants are willing to work hard for a living because their choice is existential. They cannot live without working. 

If Donald Trump cuts off immigration altogether, wages will skyrocket. Small businesses will definitely die out. Money for R&D will be severely cut. America will become like Europe at a time when Europe is severely in debt, when Europe is beginning to restructure their Marxist system of pay, and when Europe is falling apart. In the foreseeable future, I can only see Greece as a military buffer zone for Germany which may not be a bad thing.

Why Liberals like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump want to make America like Europe is a puzzle to me. Let's be quiet honest. Europe is dominated by the rich. Most people in Europe are barely getting by. There is the great, European culture and great monuments of the past, but in Europe, the two great pillars that helped build European culture is being marginalized on a large level, the culture of Judaism and ancient Greece. Then they are being scapegoated for all the problems of Europe. There is nothing replacing these two cultures. Europe, strangely enough, has an empty center. Already, in the writings of Roland Barthes, this sort of civilization was envisioned. It's a meaningless, planless, and existential society.
