Where do Korean-Americans fit in in a Postmodern America 1

Recently I read an article in the New York Times about Asians in New York and the rigorous way they prepared for standarized tests to get into the top public high schools. It got me thinking about the place that Korean-Americans occupy in Post-Modern American Society.
Post-Modern American society accepts the fact that the Absolute is dead. In other words, there is no group of people that can impose their vision of America and race on all other groups. WASPS no longer hold the power that they once had, and they can no longer impose their stereotypes of Jews, Irish, Italians, Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, etc. on these groups. Each group is liberated in a sense and free to describe and define themselves. At the same time, there is Hollywood with its own set of stereotypes that are imposed on many minorities, including Korean-Americans. Despite all the liberalism in Hollywood, most members of the Academy (those who vote on which films win the Oscar) are Caucasian. The New York Times also stated months ago that Hollywood is the whitest it has been in a while(as in the cast in movies).
The most immediate answer to the question of what place Korean-Americans occupy in the Post-Modern world may be that Korean-Americans are the New Jews, along with Chinese-Americans and Japanese-Americans (East Asians). If East Asians are the New Jews, have they aligned themselves with the WASPS? East Asians are more conservative than other Asians and Conservatism and WASPS have made a big comeback in American politics. Ralph Reed may lament the fact that there are no Protestants in the current Presidential Race (Barack Obama is a liberal Protestant, isn't he?), but despite this fact, most liberals move to the center and Conservatives have moved to the far right which means that we are moving to the right, right?
So what does it mean for Korean-Americans to be a part of the New Jews. First of all, Korean-Americans are Model Minorities which means that they don't depend on government funds and that they are hard-working minorities who do not meddle in politics too much. Model Minorities are pitted against non-model minorities like the Hispanics and the Blacks who do depend on government programs (affirmative action, etc.). Divide and Conquer is the Law of the Majority who are in the center, I suppose.
Now the tensions that were between the whites and the blacks, Hispanics are being transferred to East Asians. East Asians, being the New Jews, will probably be asked to help solve the problem of the non-model minorities. This is what I think and this is the way that East-Asians will move up the racial pecking order of America.
Now, I do not deny that there is a strong tension between East-Asians and Blacks, Hispanics. This tension may be greater than the one between whites and Blacks, Hispanics although historically Caucasians are more at fault.
