Why I Write 5

I really don't understand the cultural signals nowadays. If culture is a system through whose veins messages are transmitted as signs, signal, and symbols following a Jungian Line, then the culture seems to be saying that foreign low cultures (most cultures only admit foreign low culture, French, American, Japanese, Chinese, Korean cultures admit high cultures in a limited sense) are equal with American high culture. This is an obvious cultural critique from the Democratic Socialists, the People who believe that the Media, Hollywood, and Politics represent one value system that is racist, bigoted, and conservative. I don't know what to call this critique but to call it what it is, liberal racism, even specism. The Liberals have really outdone themselves in stupidity.  But people seem to be buying new logic.

Magazines like Dissent have always bored me. The intellectuals represented in these magazines have no idea what is going on in the current world. The only magazine I read is Commentary or the National Review, sometimes the New Yorker.
