You can only be a victim for so long before

you victimize yourself. You
become lazy because
no one taught you to be industrious.
you are so angry at those who
made you into a target, a thing,
a transferrance
that you feel that you should be rewarded.
You don't want to become anyone
because that would mean that you are not a victim.
it's so easy to be pitied, to be emotional
invested in yourself, crying silent tears all your life...
you had been bastardized by other people's cruelty...
what's the point of doing anything, but then
there is God who watches over us,
who truly wants us to express our talents and love him...
it would be so sweet if...
but he does not see us as victims
but as sheep seeking the shepard, trying
to do what is good in a world that has gone wrong.

you may spend your whole life thinking of all the wrongs
all the dysfunctions of your life,
but that leads to nothingness
and envy.
