My Light

In my hidden soul Jesus became my light
He showed me that his love was in my sight
His love a beacon shining bright
Luring me out of my dark dreary night
It's amazing what my humble heart can hear
When I open my eyes and loose my fear
God's love is so bright and clear
God gives me hope for what life holds here
Although it seems my hard road will never end
I don't know of the beauty around the bend
But I know with God on my side I will always win.
