The Bride

she woke up early a 6 am

and she could not believe the day had come

the day she was going to say i do 

and become a blushing bride

she was so excited inside 

she was laying there thinking in a few hour's time 

her dad would walk her down the aisle

with so much pride on his face

she looks over at her dress

and went aww inside 

the beautiful silk and lace

and then someone knocks on the door 

and said good morning  blushing bride

time went fast as she was getting her hair done she look out the window

and saw a beautiful blue sky  and not a single cloud could be seen in the sky

she had a glass of champagne the bubbles went up  her nose 

and made her giggle

as she slip into her dress she could feel the smooth silk and lace 

and now it was time to put the veil over her face 

and her father smiled and her mother cry  when they saw their child 

all grown up and ready to fly 

arm in arm she and  her father went 

 walking slowly to the music 

and her groom at the end 

with a big smile on his face

soon they gave each other rings

and yes i do 

and it was just a perfect day 

and in the night 

they dance outside 

and she felt so wonderful inside 

for now, they were husband and wife
