Every line on your face tells a story

every line on your face tells a story 

of heartach and loneness

love and lost 

happy times

there are some that are laughter lines

your eyes look old and tired 

and your hair is turning gray 

but if you look past that

you can see a young face

now you sit and watch the day go bye

sometimes you have tears in your eyes

and you wonder why 

life went by so fast 

every line on your face tells a story 

it's old and cracked and grey 

but that face has so many great stories 

that there don't  come out nowadays
