God awful song

Oh I sitting in my
chair looking back at my life

bills and pills pile
high on the table

what happen to my life

the winter coming soon
I just stay in one room

if I close my eyes I
can remember a time

when I was young and
foolish

and did not have a care

I would walk around

and feel the fresh air

 

Then time caught up
with me

when I was not aware

now I cant believe

its come to this

I just stay in my room

and i'm scare

 

 

I get out my pictures
remember happy time

when we were young

oh what a time

when life seems
endless

and the days so long

and we dance to some
god

awful song

but then the summer
grew shorts

and the winter got so
cold

and then I found a grey
hair

that made me feel so
old

I look at them bills I
deal with them at the end of the days

and it won't be so bad
anyway

i'm lucky that way

a lot of folks are not
so lucky that way

I count my blessing
everyday

now the clock is
ticking faster

and the room is going
around

I got to take a deep
breath and slow down

sometimes we were
stupid

but life move on

what lost is not
forgotten
