i go to the park

Oh the winter time 

Ok I nis so cold and dark

think in the morning I go to the park

well I got up early as could be

grab myself a mug of tea look out the window the weather look as cold as it can be

so I wrap up warm

and hurry out the door

Oh  it's winter time and it's cold and dark

its truly is a winter day ouch the cloud look so grey 

hope it don't rain

didn't, think that there would be a lot around but there are mums with babies walking by 

and old man and his wife looking at the lake

a lady stop and look at me

and said

i must not be late

but I just had to stop be to day

for  a moment of peace 

then she went on her way

oh the cloud are still grey 

just for a sec before I leave

i think I can feel a summer breeze

hear the ducks quacking away

and I throw them the rest of my bread

oh it begin to rain 

on this dull winter day

but inside I feel like I got sunshine

so I hurry home in the rain

to face another day

as soon as I put my key in the door

the phone rings

it time to get on with the rest of my day

but  I will always remember

when I went to the park in a cold winter day
