I sit by the sea

sitting by the sea

watch a seagulls flying over me

in the distant i can see a boat sailing by 

slowly going out of my view 

who knew i feel like this

could not stay 

and sit there

and pretend i don't care

oh feel the sun

pushing down on me 

watching people walk by 

i wonder

how there life is 

hell we all have the same inside

storms of life 

sometimes good

sometime sad

close my eyes just to hear the sound of the waves

carry me away 

to another place 

where i can hide away 

it just peaceful sitting here

for a time 

watching the seagulls

fly ove  head

i day dream for a while 

i am safe 

but i know soon i have to go back and face

what there

wishes are something we hope for 

but as the old song goes the beat goes on 

like heartbeats

of life 

so for now 

i sit by the sea

and watch the seagulls 

fly over head

and day dream away
