I still go my flags up

i still got my flags up  blowing in the wind I won't take them at all I watch them shine in the sunlight 

i going to keep them for 7 days and each day we represent a decade of her wonderful reign

I can say I am just an insignificant  person you see 

who is still joyful after watching the jubilee on  tv screen 

 yes this life is hard at times and  sad things going on 

but for a moment we hear the voices sing

all the crowds and the faces pictured in my mind 

 make me feel so joyful inside  when i think about it 

and memories  will linger  onthat weekend when we had  flags  singing and flying in the wind
