Something Missing

As I wait for something big 
In this small ocean I can't live within 
Shoved aside to make way for you 
Swept along this lonely tide 
Like driftwood riding the waves that are not my own 
Like walking in another's shadow 
My feet make the wrong impression 
When will I belong
